The new comic by Malcy Duff '2.1.3.' will be released alongside the new Usurper LP on Rel Records.  Limited to 100 copies, the comic/LP will be available on the Usurper / Eli Keszler tour.

COLOUR OUT OF SPACE

Malcy Duff will be hosting his workshop 'The Dog Walking Technique' on Saturday 31st October at 10.30am, as part of this year's Colour Out Of Space festival.  Duff will also be showing work in the exhibition (curated by Karen Constance) including a new comic entitled 'Posture.'  For more details on the best festival in the world go to

ST JOHN'S EXHIBITION

Pages from 'A 52 Second Silence For Topsy,' 'The Blackest Gnome,' 'The Heroic Mosh Of Mary's Son,' '4th 4th Bridge,' and '2 Stories : Back To The Future 2 and The Entertainer and The Student and The Man With The Purple Face' will be exhibited in an Artlink exhibition at St John's hospital in Livingston.  The exhibition will run from 12 October 2009 - 4 January 2010.

CAREER

Malcy Duff will be cartoonist in residence at St Stephen's church cafe from August 12th - 18th.  Duff will be drawing every day in the cafe between 4 and 5pm and exhibiting his new comic 'Career' on the walls.  Come in and say hello if you are nearby.

ARTOSCOPIC

USURPER WORKSHOPS

Ali Roberston and Malcy Duff will be hosting a two day workshop at the Arches in Glasgow on Sunday, September 13th and Monday, September 14th.  The workshop will bring together 12 people and introduce them to improvising Usurper style.  The workshop will culminate in a 20 minute live set as part of Arches Live on the Friday, 18th September.  The workshops are free to attend and places are available now.  For more information and to book a place email missingtwin@hotmail.co.uk.

COMIC READING IN NEW YORK

MISSING TWIN NEWS MAY 2009


Malcy Duff will be appearing in Boston and Providence, USA, at the end of this month performing readings from a selection of his comix. The film MALCY'S HORSES, will (hopefully) be screening at these events also. The dates are Boston, MA, Weirdo Records, 25th May at 8pm and Providence, RI, Building 16, 29th May also at 8pm.

THE HEROIC MOSH OF MARY'S SON will be exhibited in the exhibition METAL MOUTH SHOW in Edinburgh, at 24-26 Torphican Street, EH3 8JP. The show opens on June 26th and will run for 2 weeks. Other artists featured include Norman Shaw, Edward Summerton and Sacha Kahir. More information soon.

MISSING TWIN SITTING BEHIND A TABLE


MISSING TWIN will be appearing at the CCA Book Fair in Glasgow on Saturday 7th March and at the UK Web Comix Thing in London on Saturday 28th March. A variety of comic books from the now and from the past will be available along with original artwork and free conversation.

MALCY DUFF AT DUNDEE ART COLLEGE

There will be an exhibition in the halls of Dundee Art College of work by Malcy Duff starting Tuesday 10th Feb.  The exhibition will focus on comic books published by Missing Twin over the last two years and Giant Tank cd / poster artwork.  The exhibition is in conjunction with workshops on artist books / self publishing / diy / fanzine work which Malcy Duff will be taking in the college on Feb 9th and 10th and Feb 16th and 17th with students.
